24 large fresh mushrooms                            1 medium onion, finely diced

2/3 cup finely chopped pepperoni                              2 Tablsp butter

1 clove of garlic, minced                                1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs

2 Tablsp grated Parmesan                                    1 teasp Italian seasoning

1/8 teasp salt                                             1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Remove the stems from the mushrooms, finely chop the stems, set caps aside.  In a large skillet, saute the onion, pepperoni and stems in the butter until tender.  Add garlic and cook for another minute.  Stir in the crumbs, seasoning and salt.  Take off heat and cool.  Spoon into caps and place on foil lined cookie sheet.   Bake at 325 for 15 mins, sprinkle with mozzarella and bake another 10 mins.
