2 cups unsalted roasted mixed nuts

1 egg white, lightly beaten

2 Tablsp sugar

1/2 teasp salt

1/2 teasp cayenne pepper

1/8 teasp grd cinnamon

3/4 pound sliced bacon

1/2 cup packed lt. brown sugar          Preheat oven to 325.

In a bowl, toss the mixed nuts with just enough egg white to coat.

Stir in the sugar, salt, cayenne and cinnamon.  Spread out the nuts on

a large cookie sheet, roast, stirring frequently until the nuts are browned

and almost dry to the touch, 12-14 mins.   Break up any clumps while

the nuts are still warm....put in a medium bowl.  Increase oven to 350.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and spray with no stick spray.

Arrange bacon in a single layer, sprinkle with a thin even layer of the

sugar....coating both sides.  Bake until crisp and golden, 20-25 mins.

Transfer bacon to rack set over paper towels to catch drippings to cool.

Break into bite-sized pieces and mix into nuts.
