3 hot dogs, each one cut into 1/4's

oil to fry in

3/4 cup fine cornmeal

2 eggs     3 Tablsp sour cream      1 teasp fine chpd chives

salt and pepper        12 soaked wooden skewers

Thread one piece of hot dog on the end of each skewer.

Put about 6" of oil in pan and heat to 325 degrees.

Place cornmeal in a shallow bowl.  In another bowl, combine remaining

ingredients and blend well.  Dip hot dogs in egg, then in cornmeal,

repeat. and with all.  Drop in batches in the oil.  Drain on paper

towels and serve immediately.
