1 cup flour 1 1/2 teasp baking powder
1/2 teasp salt 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 Tablsp + 1 1/2 teasp cold butter
1/3 cup milk 2 teasp paprika OR 1/4 teasp cayenne pepper
Combine flour, powder and salt. Stir in cheese, cut int butter
until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add in the
milk and form into a dough ball. On a lt floured surface, roll out
into a 12" square. Cut in half, then cut each half into 1/2" strips.
Place strips 1" apart on cookie sheet, sprinkle with paprika.
Bake at 425 for 6-8 mins.
OR: omit paprika step, add cayenne right into the dough.
