12 slices of white bread

remove crusts and roll thin with rolling pin

8 slices of bacon, fried crisp and crumbled

6 oz. cream cheese, softened

12 asparagus spears, steamed tender crisp    

Blend cream cheese

and bacon and spread on the bread, lay one cooled asparagus

spear on each one and roll up.  Put seam side down on a cookie sheet.

Cover and chill until ready to eat.   Brush with melted butter, bake at

350 for 15-18 mins or until browned.   Serve hot.
