1 1/2 cups shelled pistachio's
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup lt. corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 Tablsp butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a microwave safe bowl, combine all but the
butter and vanilla. Blend well. Microwave on 50%
power (700 watts) until bubbly and nuts are starting
to turn dark....about 6-7 minutes. Stir in the butter
and vanilla, the cook again for 2 minutes more,
until a pale golden color. Blend well, spread onto
a buttered baking sheet. Cool completely. Break
into pieces and store in airtight container.
