6 Tablsp unsalted butter 3/4 cup lt. brown sugar, firm pkd. 1 teasp vanilla
2 teasp grated lemon zest 1 1/4 cups flour 2 large eggs
1 teasp baking powder 1/2 cup buttermilk 3 cups fresh blueberries, rinsed/drained
4 Tablsp unsalted butter, melted 1/3 cup lt. brown sugar, firm pkd 3/4 cup flour
1/2 teasp grd cinnamon 1/2 teasp baking powder Preheat oven to 350
Combine 6 Tablsp of butter and the 3/4 cup brn sugar. Add in vanilla, lemon zest and the
eggs and beat until smooth. Combine 1 1/4 cups flour and 1 teasp baking powder. Beat
in half of this mixture, then add in the buttermilk, scraping the bowl often. Add the remaining
flour and beat until smooth. Turn batter into a 10" round pan, approx. 2" deep. Top batter with 3 cups berries, gently
pressing them in. For the crumbs, combine remaining ingredients with your fingers and sprinkle
evenly over the top. Bake for 55 mins. Cool in pan for 5 mins, then invert to wire rack and re-invert
onto a serving plate. Cool completely.
