1 1/2 cups sugar 1 cup sour milk + 1 teasp baking soda
1/2 cup crisco 2 eggs 1/4 teasp salt
1 teasp vanilla 3 cups flour
Mix sugar and shortening, add eggs and blend well. Alternately
add milk mixture and rest of the ingredients....blend well the batter
will be a soft batter. Drop by large Tablsp onto a greased cookie
sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 mins.
Sprinkle sugar on top. makes 3 doz large cookies!
