1/2 teasp cinnamon           1/4 teasp cardamon           1/8 teasp grd cloves

1/8 teasp grd ginger          1/8 teasp kosher salt          1/8 teasp black pepper

2 teasp packed brown sugar                  2 teasp vegetable oil

Blend well, add in:           1  1/2 cups walnut pieces

Mix until coated well, spread out on a cookie sheet.   Bake at

350 for 10-15 mins.   Turn halfway thru.   Cool completely.

Fold into 1/2 cup dried tart cherries.
