4 cups old fashioned rolled oats 1/3 cup honey OR molasses
1 cup chpd nuts 1 cup flaked coconut 1/4 cup veg oil 3/4 cup uncooked oat bran cereal
1 cup raisins 1 cup chpd dates OR cranberries 1 teasp vanilla
15x10x1 pan......preheat oven to 350
spread oats in pan, bake for 5 mins, then stir well, bake another
5 mins. Take out and cool.
In a saucepan, combine honey and oil and heat slightly, add vanilla, nuts, bran
and coconut. Stir into the oats...spread back in the pan and bake again for
another 20-25 mins. Stir 3 times during this time frame. Take out of the oven
and stir in the raisins and cranberries. Cool and store in a container.
