2 cups 1" pieces of fresh asparagus small red bell pepper, diced
small vidalia onion, diced 3 Tablsp butter
8 cups cubed day old bread 1 cup diced cooked ham
2 cups sharp cheddar, shredded 8 eggs, beaten
2 cups of milk S&P
Saute in melted butter the asparagus, bell pepper and onion just
until tender. Remove from heat. In a sprayed 9x13, put bread cubes. Top
with the ham, 1 cup of cheese and the vegetables. Add the other cup of cheese.
Combine eggs with milk and beat well, season with salt and pepper....pour into
the pan, cover and chill overnight. Take out 1/2 hour before uncovering and
baking at 350 for 40-45 mins. Let sit for another 10 mins before cutting/serving.
