2 cups bisquick baking mix 2 Tablsp brown sugar 1/2 teasp cinnamon
1/4 teasp each: ginger and nutmeg
1 egg 1 1/3 cups milk
1 cup canned sweet potatoes, mashed
2 Tablsp canola oil 1 teasp vanilla extract
Blend well....make according to your waffle iron directions. Should make 12.
Topping: 1 Tablsp butter, melted and add in:
1/2 cup chopped pecans, 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Cook and stir for
2 minutes, then add in: 2 Tablsp brown sugar 1 Tablsp water
1/8 teasp cinnamon dash of salt dash of nutmeg
Cook and stir until dissolved and bubbly. Serve with waffles and syrup!
