1 fresh beef brisket, 5-6 pounds

two 12 oz. jars mushroom gravy

1 cup apple cider

1 envelope onion mushroom gravy mix

6 gingersnap cookies, crushed

Cut the brisket into thirds and place in a large crockpot.  Combine all

the remaining ingredients and pour over the meat.  Cover and cook

on low for 6-8 hours or until the meat is tender.  Thinly slice the meat

across the grain, serve with gravy.
