2 1/4 cups flour      1 teasp baking soda     1 teasp salt     2 sticks butter or margarine, softened

3/4 cup granulated sugar      3/4 cup pkd brown sugar      1 teasp vanilla     2 eggs

1 cup semi sweet chocolate chunks 

14 andes mint candies, chopped fine

In a small bowl, combine flour, soda and salt.   Beat butter, sugars and vanilla in a large bowl

until fluffy.  Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.  Gradually beat in the flour

mixture.  Add chocolate, stirring well.  Cover and chill for 15 mins.

Roll dough into small balls and place on ungrsd sheets, flatten slightly.  Bake at

375 for 10-12 mins.  Should be golden brown.
