1/4 cup baking cocoa 1 cup water 1/2 cup butter
2 cups flour 2 cups sugar 1 teasp baking soda
2 eggs 1/2 cup oil 1/2 cup buttermilk
In a large saucepan, combine cocoa and water until smooth,
add butter and bring just to a boil. Remove from heat, stir until smooth.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, soda. Add cocoa mixture and blend
well. Combine eggs, oil and buttermilk and stir in. Beat until smooth, pour
into a grsd 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 30-35 mins.
Icing: 1/4 cup baking cocoa 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup buttermilk
3 3/4 cups powdered sugar 1 teasp vanilla 1/2 cup chpd pecans
In a saucepan, bring cocoa, butter and buttermilk to a boil, remove from heat.
Whisk in sugar and vanilla and blend well, spread over warm cake. Sprinkle w/nuts.
