Chocolate Pecan Pie

¾ cup packed brown sugar
½ cup sugar
3 large eggs
½ cup butter, melted
½ cup flour
3 Tablespoons bourbon OR water
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans
Vanilla ice cream/caramel topping deep dish pie shell
Preheat the oven to 350.
In a large bowl, combine the sugars and the eggs, beating well. Stir In the melted butter and blend well. Add the flour, stirring until combined. Stir in the bourbon, chocolate chips and the pecans. Pour this mixture Into the pie crust and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting. Serve with the vanilla ice cream, and a drizzle of the caramel topping.
