Easy Caramel Candy From: Harley of Findlay
2 sticks real butter
1 cup Karo syrup
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups granulated sugar
Cook all together until melted and mixed, then until it reaches 240 degrees on a candy thermometer.
Take off of the heat & stir in:
1 teaspoon real vanilla 2 cups chopped pecans Blend very well, then spread in a buttered 8” square pan. Let cool and set up. This will not get hard. You can wrap this candy individually for a nice holiday treat.
