2 cups flour    1 teasp sugar    4 teasp baking powder    1/3 cup shortening

1 egg, beaten     1/2 cup milk     1/2 teasp salt

Blend well, roll into 12x10 rectangle.

Sprinkle with sugar.   top with rhubarb:

3/4 cup sugar    3-4 cups diced rhubarb

spread on dough.

Roll up jelly roll style.  Sut into 1" slices and place in a 9x13 pan.

Top with syrup:

1 1/2 cups water     3/4 cup sugar   red color

Cook to a boil

Bake at 400 for 30 mins.
