14 oz bag of Kraft caramels, unwrapped (about 51) 1/2 cup evaporated milk
Blend together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth and melted.
Keep warm while making brownies.
1 box devil's food cake mix 1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup real butter, softened 1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
In a mixer bowl, combine the dry cake mix and the pecans. Cut in the butter
with a pastry blender or two forks....mix well. Add the evaporated milk
and blend well, the batter will be thick. Spread half of the batter into a sprayed
9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes or until set. Remove from the oven
and top with the chips, then drizzle the caramel over the top. Spread evenly.
Drop the remaining batter evenly over the top. Bake another 15-20 minutes.
Brownies will firm up upon cooling. Cool completely, then cut into squares.
Will make about 4 dozen.
