3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup flour 1/2 teas: grd nutmeg & grd cinnamon
dash of salt 6 cups thin sliced, peeled tart apples
9" pie shell
Preheat oven to 425. Combine dry ingredients, fold in apples. Turn into
the pie shell. Top with:
1 cup flour, 1/2 cup cold butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar...mix until crumbly.
Bake for 50 mins, cover with foil the last ten minutes to prevent over-browning.
