Crust: 1 bag microwave popcorn, popped 1 1/2 Tablsp butter
1/2 Tablsp water 22 Kraft caramels, unwrapped
Place the popped popcorn in a plastic bag and lightly crush, set aside.
In the top of a dbl boiler, combine water, butter and caramels. Cook
over medium heat until melted and smooth. Drizzle this mixture over
the popcorn and mix together. Press the corn into a well buttered pie plate and
set aside.
Filling: 5 medium apples, cored, peeled and thin sliced Place in a microwave
safe dish with 1/4 cup of water. cover and cook for 5 minutes.
In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup water, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 teasp cinnamon,
pinch of nutmeg and 2 tablsp flour. Stir over medium heat until thickened. Stir
this syrup into the apples, cover and microwave again for 3 minutes or until the
apples reach a nice thickness. After they have cooled, turn into the popcorn crust.
Sprinkle a chopped snickers bar over the top.
