spread out newspapers, paper towls and paper plates have plenty of powdered sugar!!
In a large bowl, combine: 1 egg 3/4 cup milk 2 Tablsp brn sugar
1 cup flour 3/4 teasp baking powder pinch of salt
Whisk slightly, then set aside while 1" of oil heats up to 375 degrees.
Fill funnel with about 1/2 cup of batter. Let drop into oil in a web pattern. Cook until
browned on one side, then flip over and cook other side. Put on paper to drain.
Makes 4-5 "cakes"
