3/4 cup crushed candy canes      1/2 cup milk

1 1/2 teasp unflavored gelatin       2 teasp water

1 pint whipped cream, whipped until stiff

1 angel food cake, sliced into 3 layers

1/2 cup chocolate syrup

Put candy in milk, heat until melted and combined

Combine gelatin and water....stir into milk and blend

well.  Chill until it starts to set....then fold into the cream.

Spread over the layers of the cake with a little drizzle

of chocolate, too.  Frost cake completely when done.

Chill until ready to serve.
