baked pie shell OR graham cracker crust           1 cup sugar                      1 cup cold water

2 Tablsp white karo syrup           2 heap Tablsp cornstarch                  3-3 1/2 Tablsp peach gelatin powder

1-2 drops yellow food color                          5-6 medium peaches, peeled/pitted/sliced

In a saucepan, combine sugar, syrup, cornstarch and water....cook, stirring constantly to a

boil, then cook an add'l  5 mins.  Add in the gelatin powder (which is measured from a small

box of peach jell-o).  Add in the coloring...mix well, and let cool.  Fold in the peaches and put

into the crust.  Chill.    Serve with coolwhip!
