8 cups stale French or Italian bread....cubed     3 1/2 cups milk      6 Tablsp butter

4 eggs     3/4 cup brn sugar     1 teasp vanilla     1 teasp cinnamon    4 cups diced peeled apple

1 small jar caramel topping       1/2 cup chopped cashews

Preheat oven to 350  In a small saucepan, heat milk.  Spray a 9x13 pan with no stick spray and

put the bread in it.  Add milk and combine until it absorbs into the bread.  In a bowl, cream the

butter and sugar, add eggs, vanilla and cinnamon and beat until fluffy.  Stir in the apples and add

to the bread mixture.  Bake for 1 hour.  Top with sauce and sprinkle with nuts.  Serve warm with

ice cream and/or whipped topping.
