4 Tablsp butter 5 large apples, peeled, cored, chopped
3 Tablsp sugar 3 Tablsp brn sugar 1 teasp cinnamon
Saute apples in butter until soft. Add remaining and saute for
another 3 mins, then cool.
Preheat oven to 350, spray a 9" springform pan.
1 1/2 cups flour 1 cup pkd brn sugar 1 stick butter 1/2 teasp salt
3/4 cup canned pumpkin 1/2 cup sour cream 2 Tablsp sugar
2 teasp pumpkin pie spice 1 teasp baking soda 2 large eggs
Combine flour, brn sugar, butter and salt....beat with a mixer until coarse
crumbs. Set aside 2/3 cup of this mixture. Combine pumpkin, sour cream,
sugar, spice and soda. Add this into remaining flour mixture and blend well.
Add in eggs and blend until smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan. Scatter
apples on top, sprinkle with crumbs. Bake for 1 hour & 10 mins. Cool for
20 mins, then remove from pan. Serve with whipped cream and/or ice cream.
