2 cups packed brown sugar 1 cup water*
1/4 teasp salt
Cook over heat until dissolved, the cook until
soft ball stage. Add in 1 Tablsp butter. Place the
entire pan in cold water to cool. Beat well, then
add in 1 teasp vanilla and 1 cup chopped pecans.
Beat well, drop by spoonfuls. Store.
* OR ADD IN: milk, cream or evaporated milk
