1 can or bag of sauerkraut
same amount of canned tomatoes
1 medium to large onion, sliced
1-2 cups of dark brown sugar, according to taste
Drain the kraut well, place in the bottom of a baking dish
Top with tomatoes, undrained. Break the tomatoes up with
the side of a wooden spoon, do not stir together.
Sprinkle the brown sugar over all. Slice the onion on top.
Add the pork ribs on top, bone side down. Add S&P.
Place in the oven, uncovered, about 3-4 hours at 300 degrees.
Serve over mashed potatoes.
