In a greased or buttered 9x13 pan, combine:
5 cups diced cooked chicken 2 cups diced celery
3 cups cooked rice 8 oz. can sliced water chestnuts, drained
2 can crm of chicken soup 1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise 2 Tablsp diced onion
2 Tablsp lemon juice 3/4 teasp black OR white pepper
1 cup slivered or sliced almonds
Blend well. Top with:
1/2 cup sliced or slivered almonds, 3 cups cornflakes, 2/3 cup melted butter
Mix well, spread on top. Bake at 350 for 35-45 mins. Serves 6-8.
