Oriental Pork and Pea Pods From: Brenda of Findlay
2 Tablsp oil
1 pound boneless pork, ¼” strips
2 Tablsp soy sauce
1/8 teasp garlic powder
6-8 oz. frozen or fresh pea pods
1 cup sliced green onions
2 Tablsp cornstarch
1 cup beef broth
hot cooked rice
In a large skillet, heat oil. Add the pork, soy sauce and garlic powder. Cook, stirring often until meat is done … stir in peas and onions. Cook for another 3 minutes. Combine the cornstarch and the beef broth until smooth. Stir into the skillet, cover and cook on high for 2-3 minutes. Uncover, stir well, lower heat and cook until thickened and bubbly. Serve over rice.
