3 bell peppers, cut into ½” strips
1 sweet Vidalia onion, cut into ½” chunks
2 pounds boneless steak, cut into thin strips*
¾ cup water
2 Tablsp red wine vinegar
1 Tablsp lime OR lemon juice
1 teasp ground cumin
1 teasp chili powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teasp garlic powder
½ teasp black pepper
½ teasp cayenne pepper
Put bell peppers, onions and steak in crockpot in that order. Combine the Remaining ingredients, stirring well and pour into the crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours. Stir well. Serve the mixture with a slotted spoon onto flour tortilla’s and top with salsa, shredded cheese, cilantro, sour cream. *You can also decide to use chicken or pork, but cut into small pieces.
