Sweet N’ Sour Meatballs over Rice
1 pound ground beef
½ cup bread crumbs
¼ cup milk
½ teasp Worcestershire
1 small onion, diced
1 egg
1 clove of garlic, minced
20 oz. can pineapple chunks
3 Tablsp vinegar
1 Tablsp soy sauce
½ cup brown sugar
3 Tablsp cornstarch
1 green bell pepper, cut up
Combine beef, crumbs, milk, salt, pepper, Worcestershire, onion, egg and garlic. Roll into small balls and bake 20-25 minutes at 400. Drain well. Drain pineapple and reserve the juice, adding water to the juice to measure one cup…pour into a skillet and add an add’l 1/3 cup water, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar and cornstarch…cook and stir until smooth and thickened. Add pineapple, grn pepper and meatballs. Simmer uncovered 20-30 minutes until heated thru. Serve over rice.
