4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves 1 Tablsp oil 8 oz pkg fresh button mushrooms, 1/4'd
6 oz pkg fresh shitake mushrooms, stems removed, caps sliced 1/4 cup butter
.7 oz envelope Italian dry salad dressing mix 1 can golden mushroom soup
1/2 of an 8 oz tub of cream cheese spread w/chives & onion 1/2 cup dry white wine
2 cups cooked rice OR angel hair pasta
In a large skillet, brown chicken in hot oil over medium heat. In a slow cooker, put mushrooms.
Top with chicken. In a saucepan, melt butter, add dressing mix. Add soup, cheese and wine and cook
until melted....pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours. Serve chicken and sauce over
rice or pasta.
