Margherita Pizza
Pizza dough for two 12” pizza’s, ½” thick
¼ cup olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
8 large tomatoes, thinly sliced
1 pound fresh mozzarella, sliced thin whole fresh basil leaves S&P
Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Place pizza dough on two pans. Brush both pizza rounds with the olive oil. Sprinkle with the garlic. A slightly overlapping layer of the tomato slices, then top with a layer of mozzarella. Finally use basil leaves on top, then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is lightly browned and bubbly.
