1 cup melted margarine 1 cup sifted flour
Blend together in a saucepan, add in: 5 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk 1 teaspoon salt
Cook until thickened, TEMPER IN: 5 beaten eggs
Cook an additional 4 minutes....until very thick. Take off heat.
In a greased 9x13 pan.....combine:
3/4 cup diced celery 1/2 cup diced onion 2 Tablsp chopped parsley
6 cups bread cubes 1/2 teasp black pepper 1 1/2 teasp poultry seasoning
1/2 cup chicken broth
Blend well and press into the pan, top with half of the chicken custard.
Top that with 5 cups of cooked, diced chicken - then the remaining custard.
Top with 1 cup dried bread crumbs. Bake at 400 for 30-35 mins.
