3/4 cup unsweetened apple juice 1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 cup cola 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup honey 3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 Tablsp worcestirshire 1-2 teasp Liquid Smoke
1 teasp salt 1 teasp dried thyme 1 teasp black pepper
1/2 teasp cayenne pepper 1/2 teasp ground nutmeg
Blend all together well, measure 1 1/2 cups of this marinade and
put into a large sealable plastic bag. Add in:
3-4 pounds of boneless pork ribs. Seal bag and turn over a
few times to coat the ribs. Put in the refrigerator and chill for
5 hours up to overnight. The remaining marinade, put into
another container, seal and chill.
When ready to grill: Heat coals or grill, take out ribs and put
on grill, throw away plastic bag and marinade. Use the reserved
marinade to baste while grilling.
To cook in the crockpot: Take out ribs from bag and put in crockpot,
throw away bag and marinade. Use the reserved marinade and pour
into the pot over the ribs. Cover and cook on low for 7 hours or until
very tender.
