2 Tablsp extra virgin olive oil 8 Tablsp butter (1 stick) 3 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup dry white wine 3/4 teasp salt 1/8 teasp red pepper flakes
cracked black pepper to taste 2 pounds large shrimp, peeled/deveined
1 cup marinated artichoke hearts, drained 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
rice, pasta or crusty bread for serving 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
In a large skillet, over medium high heat, melt butter and oil together, add the garlic
and cook, stirring occasionally until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the wine, salt,
red pepper flakes, and some black pepper. Bring to a simmer, let liquid reduce by half,
about 2-3 minutes. Add shrimp, artichokes and cook, stirring occasionally until they
are done, about 4 mins. Stir in basil, season with salt and serve with cheese.
