6 large green bell peppers, halved....blanche in boiling water for 3 mins, drain and place
cut side up in a 9x13 pan.....set aside. Combine:
3 cups cooked rice 1 pound cooked hamburger (or ground turkey) 1/2 cup chopped onion
2-2 1/2 cups salsa 1/2 cup catsup 2 teasp seasoned salt 1/4 teasp black pepper
1 beaten egg 2 teasp worcestirshire 1 teasp garlic powder 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
Mix well, fill pepper halves. Combine:
8 oz. tomato sauce 1/2 cup water 1 Tablsp sugar Spoon over peppers.
Put 1/2 cup of water in the pan. Cover pan with foil. Bake at 325 for 1 hour. Uncover, top each pepper
with a little shredded cheese, bake another 5 mins. Let sit for 5 mins, then serve!
