15 oz. can black beans, rinsed/drained
1/2 of 15 oz. can dark red kidney beans, rinsed/drained
place beans in a gallon plastic food bag, use a meat mallet and mash until coarse texture....like
lumpy mashed potatoes. Put into a large bowl, and add in:
1/2 cup fine chopped green bell pepper
1/3 cup quick oats 2 large egg whites
1 Tablsp canola oil 1/4 teasp cayenne
Mix well, shape into patties. Cook in a large non stick skillet over medium heat. 4 minutes
on each side or until lt. brown. Assemble as regular burgers!
