Christmas Salad

(This was originally on the Phoneclub back in 2006)
1 cup hot water
8 oz. can crushed pineapple, with juice
3 oz. lime gelatin
Bring all of this to a boil, lower the heat and simmer for a few minutes. Remove from the heat, add in 8 oz. cream cheese cut into small pieces and 1 ½ cups of mini marshmallows. Using an electric mixer, mix until completely blended. Chill until partially set. Fold in 9 oz. Cool Whip and ½ cup chopped walnuts. Put into a glass 9x13 dish. Chill until set. 3 oz. cherry gelatin 1 cup boiling water Stir until dissolved, then add in
1 cup cold water and stir until well blended. Let cool completely before pouring over the top of the salad. Chill until set. Cut and serve.
