one box lemon flavored gelatin
2 cups boiling water
2 cups shredded cabbage
1/2 cup grated raw carrot
1 teaspoon grated onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
Dissolve the gelatin in the boiling water, cool, the
chill until syrupy. Prepare all the vegetables. When
the gelatin is about to congeal, fold in the cabbage and
the rest of the vegetables. Pour into a lightly oiled large
gelatin mold or individual mols. Chill until firm. Unmold
and serve on lettuce lined plates with a dollop of
mayonnaise.
