1 cup peeled diced carrots       1 cup peeled, diced sweet potato

1/2 cup peeled, diced pears        1/2 cup water      1/2 cup orange juice*

In a medium saucepan, over medium high heat, bring all ingredients to

a boil, cover - reduce heat and simmer about 20 minutes or until very

tender.   Transfer to a blender and puree on high speed, add more water

if necessary until smooth.

NOTE*   Sub additional water if baby is sensitive to to citrus juice.

For older kids:   Add a dash of curry powder and 2 cups of chicken

broth while cooking to make a great soup!
