Hickory Barbecue Sauce
15 oz. can tomato puree 1/3 cup light molasses
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
½ teaspoon hot pepper sauce ½ teaspoon liquid smoke
In a saucepan, simmer tomato puree and molasses. Combine the remaining ingredients and add to the saucepan….simmer all of the ingredients for ten minutes, stirring occasionally. This will make about 2 - 2 1/2 cups of sauce. Great for chicken, beef or pork!
