28 oz can crushed tomatoes 1 1/2 teasp red wine vinegar
1/2 teasp granulated garlic OR garlic powder
1/2 teasp dried basil 1/4 teasp dried oregano
1/4 teasp dried thyme 1/4 teasp grd black pepper
1/4-1/2 teasp salt 1/4-1/2 cup water
In a medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients except salt and water
...taste sauce and whisk in 1/4 cup water and enough salt to taste.
In needed, add more water to thin. Should easily spread over the dough.
Makes 3 cups.
