1 pound of good hamburger (lean)         3 cups tomato juice             medium onion, minced

1/2 green bell pepper, minced          1 clove of garlic, minced               chili powder, to taste

ground cumin, to taste

Cook all together, breaking up the hamburger as it cooks in this mixture.  Use a hand

held blender to puree this mixture, then add in a 15 oz. can of refried beans.  blend well.

Taste and season if needed with S&P.
