12 medium bartlett pears                        1/2 cup pineapple tidbits

1 orange, juice and grated peel               8 cups sugar

Blend well, let sit overnight.  Next day, cook on low in crockpot

uncovered for 4 hours....stir occasionally.  Add in 10 oz. bottle

of chopped drained maraschino cherries.  Cook until thickened.

Put into jars and seal.
