In your soup kettle, cook:

4 slices thick cut bacon, diced....until golden brown, add in:

1 large onion, diced....cook until softened, about 5 mins, add in:

2 cloves of garlic, minced, cook for 1-2 mins, add in:

2 ribs of celery, diced        1 medium carrot, diced

1 red bell pepper, diced      1 large russet potato, peeled/diced 1/4"

Conintue cooking for 8-10 mins.  Add in:

28 oz. can diced tomatoes        2 cups seafood stock

1 cup tomato juice                    2 bay leaves       2 Tablsp sugar

1 Tablsp chopped fresh oregano leaves

1 Tablsp fresh thyme leaves, picked off the stem

Bring all to a simmer, cook 20-25 mins.  Stir occasionally.   Add in:

1 pound fresh seafood:  1" pieces of white fish, shrimp, clams, mussels

2 teaspoons of worcestirshire sauce

Cover pot and cook until seafood is cooked thru....remove pot from heat and

season with salt, pepper and hot sauce if desired.
