Saute 1 medium onion, diced in 1 Tablsp of butter over
medium heat until soft. Add in 1 1/2 pounds of coarsely
chopped asparagus and cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring
occasionally. Add in 1 3/4 cups of chicken broth, 1 cup of
water, and a little salt and pepper. cover and simmer for about
10 minutes or until asparagus is softenened. Puree, then add
in 1/4 cup half n half. Blend well, heat thru and serve!
