1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed into 2" pieces       2 teasp grd ginger

2 Tablsp oil          8 oz. fresh mushrooms, cleaned and sliced

1 teasp salt, pinch of sugar, pinch of black pepper

In a large skillet, heat oil....saute asparagus and ginger for a few

minutes until tender crisp.   Add the remaining ingredients and

cook until done.   Could also add some julienned pieces of

cooked ham!
