1 quart of water 1 quart of white vinegar 6 Tablsp kosher salt
Bring to a boil, cool slightly
In a quart jar, put in:
3-4 pieces of garlic clove spring of fresh dill
cucumbers, cut as desired, or whole
can also add in cauliflower pieces, pearl onions sliced carrots
and maybe some hot pepper slices
pour in the brine
add in another sprig of dill and a little more garlic
add in hot brine to fill.
top with a 1/2 slice of rye bread, put on lid to the
jar and seal. Place in the sun for 5 days.
needs to be in the sun for 5 days.
